Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in insurance defense.
• Strong knowledge of insurance defense litigation procedures and terminology.
• Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in managing insurance defense cases from inception through resolution.
• Prepare, review, and organize pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, court personnel, and other parties involved in litigation.
• Maintain case files and ensure deadlines and court filings are met.
• Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials.
• Manage calendars and schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings.
