Coulter, Monroe & McDonald, LLC, an insurance defense firm in downtown Greenville, SC, is seeking a paralegal to support our litigation team. This full-time, in-person role focuses on auto negligence cases, document management, and coordinating with attorneys, clients, and adjusters.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of paralegal experience, relevant degrees, and strong MS Office skills. Drafting pleadings and maintaining confidential information are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, political science, or criminal justice preferred.
• 3–5 years of work experience minimum.
• Paralegal Certificate is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; proficient in organizing and manipulating documents.
• Experience drafting pleadings, affidavits, and motions.
• Ability to handle confidential information and protect it electronically and physically.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Strong organization and prioritization; communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with adjusters regarding issues in case files.
• Work on pre-litigation and litigation files.
• Prepare correspondence both in email form, business letters, and other documents as directed.
• Preparation of subpoenas.
• Schedule depositions and mediations.
• Calendar appointments for attorneys.
• Special tasks for attorneys.
