Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice software.
• Familiarity with billing hours and electronic timekeeping.
• Strong written communication, time management, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance defense civil litigation cases from intake through resolution.
• Organize and summarize medical and billing records.
• Draft answers, motions, protective orders, interrogatories, and requests for production.
• Review discovery and prepare document indexes.
• Schedule depositions, subpoena witnesses, and summarize transcripts.
• Manage exhibit boards and courthouse logistics.
• File electronically via the North Carolina e-filing portal.
• Communicate with claims adjusters, corporate clients, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain daily billable hour logs per carrier guidelines.
