Jobot is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 2–7 years of litigation experience to join its team across Hartford, Worcester, or Boston offices. The role offers a salary range of $110,000–$170,000 with a hybrid work schedule and strong benefits.

Qualified candidates should be admitted to practice in MA and/or CT, possess strong academics, and have experience in insurance defense or related civil litigation. The firm emphasizes mentorship and diverse, meaningful courtroom opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut.
• Strong academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied litigation caseload including construction losses.
• Liquor liability and premises liability matters.
• Trucking accidents and product liability matters.
• Gain meaningful courtroom and deposition experience.
• Participate in trial preparation and assist with trial strategy.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Work directly with experts.
• Attend site inspections.
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions.
• Receive ongoing mentorship, skills training, and shadowing opportunities.
• Real-time coaching on client communication, discovery strategy, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy.
