Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Litigation Associate for a large nationwide defense firm with a hybrid work model. The role demands a JD and bar admission, with 1–3 years in litigation focusing on insurance defense.

You will draft litigation documents, advise clients on transactions and liabilities, and analyze outcomes using precedents. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and analytical skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 1–3 years of litigation experience with a focus on insurance defense.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills across a wide range of legal documents.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.
• Licensed to practice law in the state and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
• Draft and review legal documents such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
• Advise clients on business transactions, liability, and rights and obligations under the law.
• Analyze case outcomes using legal precedents and prepare strategic arguments.
• Develop case strategies and gather evidence through client and witness interviews.
• Specialize in insurance defense and provide coverage opinions.
