Jobot is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our Texas law firm. The successful candidate will handle insurance defense matters in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and contribute to a collaborative team focused on exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases independently and effectively.
• Proven track record of favorable results in insurance defense litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all stages of insurance defense litigation from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Engage in discovery, take/defend depositions, and argue motions.
• Develop case strategies based on evidence and precedent.
• Manage relationships with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and staff.
• Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, mediations, and settlements.
• Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and liabilities.
• Stay updated on trends in insurance defense litigation.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high client service levels.
• Participate in professional development to maintain skills.
