Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and NJ license required.
• 3–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience and ability to manage matters independently.
• Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills in pleadings, discovery and motions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, reports, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, handle motion practice and court appearances.
• Participate in arbitrations and mediations, prepare matters for trial.
• Handle automobile liability matters under New Jersey law.
• Maintain relationships with insurance carriers, claims professionals, and corporate clients.
• Conduct legal research, draft persuasive motions/briefs/memoranda.
