GNV Talent Link seeks an Insurance Defense Attorney for its North Jersey team. The hybrid role allows 2–3 days per week in the Jersey City office, with responsibilities spanning from pleadings to depositions and trial preparation.

Ideal candidates will have a JD, 3–8 years of insurance litigation experience, and a proven track record in NJ auto liability defense and working with insurers or self-insured clients.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 3–8 years of insurance litigation experience.
• Experience handling litigation, depositions, and motions.
• Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills.
• NJ auto liability defense experience.
• Experience representing insurance carriers or self‑insured clients.
• Trial/arbitration/mediation courtroom experience.
• Experience with premise liability.
• Existing relationships with insurers or claims professionals.

Responsabilités

This is a hybrid role open to candidates located in Jersey City, NJ and the surrounding North Jersey area.

Our client is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney for its North Jersey team.

Location: Hybrid Schedule: 2 -3 days a week in the Jersey City office initially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, reports, and other litigation documents
• Conduct and defend depositions, handle motion practice and court appearances
• Participate in arbitration and mediations, prepare matters for trial
• Handle automobile liability matters under New Jersey law
• Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, claims professionals, and corporate clients
• Conduct legal research, draft persuasive motions/briefs/memoranda

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
