Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Proven experience in depositions, motions, and mediation.
• Strong oral and written communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurance companies in defense against claims and suits.
• Conduct thorough legal research for case proceedings.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
• Develop and implement strategic defense plans for each case.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
• Provide legal advice regarding potential exposure and risks.
• Stay updated on laws and trends related to insurance defense.
• Manage a heavy caseload while maintaining high-quality work.
• Participate in firm marketing and client development activities.

This position offers an opportunity to be a part of a collaborative team that defends insurance companies against claims and suits. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of insurance defense and will have a proven track record of successfully representing clients in depositions, motions, and mediation. The candidate should be adept at managing a heavy caseload and be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This position requires 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

1. Represent insurance companies in defense against claims and suits.

Qualifications

8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
9. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.

12. Proven track record of achieving favorable case outcomes for clients.
