Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to join a growing regional firm with 20 offices. This role offers broad exposure in a fast-paced environment, managing cases from investigation to appeal.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D., PA bar in good standing, and 2+ years of litigation experience with strong deposition, arbitration and trial skills, plus excellent communication and legal research abilities. Partnership potential and mentorship are available.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active PA bar in good standing.
• Minimum 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Proven experience in depositions, arbitrations and trials.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the litigation process from investigation through appeal.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations and arbitrations.
• Provide legal advice on rights and obligations to clients.
• Collaborate with a team to develop defense strategies and handle cases independently.

We are currently seeking a Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team. As an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate, you will be expected to:

1. Manage all aspects of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
2. Develop and implement litigation strategies, conduct effective legal research, and draft compelling legal documents.
3. Represent clients in court and at depositions, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
4. Provide legal advice to clients and advise them on their rights and obligations.
5. Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop defense strategies, while also working independently on various cases.
6. Stay abreast of current legal trends and updates in insurance defense litigation.
7. Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

The ideal candidate for the Litigation Associate role will have:

1. A J.D. degree from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing of the Pennsylvania bar.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
3. Proven experience in handling depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
7. Ability to manage a high volume of cases and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
