Job summary

Jobot, a well known insurance defense firm in downtown Orlando, seeks an Insurance Defense Attorney with strong trial and negotiation skills. You will handle a range of defense claims, advise on liability issues, and manage discovery and court filings.

Ideal candidates hold a JD, State Bar admission, and at least 3 years of insurance defense experience, including product and premises liability. On-site in Orlando with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney.
• Experience in product liability, premises liability, depositions, and general liability.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Representing clients in a wide range of insurance defense claims.
2. Providing expert legal advice on matters related to product liability, premises liability, depositions, and general liability.
3. Conducting thorough and detailed investigations, legal research, and discovery.
4. Preparing and presenting cases in court, arbitration, and administrative hearings.
5. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
