• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for proceedings.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience of insurance defense experience
• Comfortable working in a 1900 billable environment
• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in California

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.

• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings

The annual salary for this position is between 180k-220k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
