Qualifications

• 2+ years of New York insurance defense litigation experience.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
• Strong deposition experience.
• Court appearances and motion practice experience.
• Experience handling litigation matters across New York State.
• Trucking and transportation litigation experience preferred.
• Fraud-focused insurance defense experience preferred.
• Trial preparation or courtroom participation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and defend depositions independently.
• Appear regularly in courts across Western New York and New York State.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Participate in trial preparation and trial work.
• Provide strategic reporting and analysis to carrier clients.
• Respond to urgent incidents and assist in early-stage case development.
