Position: Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Compensation: Up to $175,000 + Bonus

I'm currently recruiting for an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join an established California litigation practice with extensive experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, product liability, and premises liability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle civil litigation matters involving product liability and premises liability.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Manage discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and related case preparation.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and potential litigation strategies.
• Assist with settlement negotiations, case resolution, and trial preparation.

Billable Hours: 1,800 annually.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $175,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

• Work Arrangement: Fully remote within California.
• Medical Insurance: 100% of employee medical insurance covered after the applicable enrollment period; up to 60% of dependent coverage after three months.
• Paid Time Off: Vacation allowance based on experience, with additional time potentially negotiable.
• Retirement: 401(k) partial matching program after one year of service.
