Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. in Peoria Heights, IL is seeking a Data Collection Specialist for a part-time, approximately 20-hour per week role. You will collect insurance policy expiration dates (X-dates) and related prospect data while updating our database and generating follow-up tasks for the sales team.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills (keyboarding, data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, email). Call center exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills including keyboarding, data entry, word processing, spreadsheets and email.
• Call center experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect insurance policy “X” dates and other prospect information (address, contact, fax, number insured, email).
• Use a database to mark responses and activities for telemarketing campaigns and generate follow-up tasks for the salesperson.
• Make two calls per prospect (one week apart) or until contact is made.
• Prepare a weekly report detailing x-dates received and campaign analysis using Excel templates.
• Maintain a minimum of 18 calls per hour.
