Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance in Bedford, IN is seeking an experienced customer service professional to support policyholders with discounts, billing, and inquiries. You will resolve discount issues, set appointments, and assist with billing and claims paperwork while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 3 years of customer service (insurance preferred), and a license or ability to obtain a Property & Casualty license within a year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years customer service experience (insurance preferred).
• Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Knowledge of Farm Bureau discounts and programs.
• Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Android and Apple phones.
• Ability to guide customers through technology.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with customers and discusses our discounts.
• Resolves issues about any of our discounts or programs.
• Reaches out to customers and sets appointments.
• Cross-sells to our customers with regards to the Multi-Line discount.
• Handles incoming calls and answers any questions.
• Collects payments and makes policy changes.
• Sets up bill accounts and works on other simple billing requests.
• Submits claims paperwork that is requested by the claim’s representatives.
• Provides proof of insurance documents that are requested by clients.
• May assist with INFB Health Plans.
• Any additional duties assigned by management.
