This senior role requires handling third-party liability coverage across multiple jurisdictions and guiding teams through all stages of litigation.

Ideal candidates will have a J.D., 7+ years PQE in coverage or coverage-litigation, and demonstrated excellence in advocacy, research, and client management.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 7+ years PQE in insurance coverage or insurance litigation.
• Strong advocacy, case management, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle third-party liability insurance coverage matters, contentions and non-contentious.
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositions, trial prep.
• Provide strategic legal advice on insurance coverage issues.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams on complex litigation matters.
• Travel as required based on case needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior attorney to work on complex, high-value matters in both contentious and non-contentious insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle third-party liability insurance coverage matters (contentious and non-contentious)
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including:
• Pleadings and motion practice
• Discovery
• Depositions
• Trial preparation and proceedings
• Provide strategic legal advice on insurance coverage issues
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
• Collaborate with internal teams on complex litigation matters
• Travel as required based on case needs

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 7+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in:
• Insurance coverage, and/or
• Insurance litigation
• Strong advocacy and case management skills
• Experience handling matters through all phases of litigation
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong presentation and client management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Portable book of business is not required
