Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced insurance coverage litigation attorney for our Irvine, California office. The role involves handling complex, high-exposure matters in a collaborative team setting.

You will participate in all phases of litigation, work with partners on case strategy, and draft memoranda, pleadings, and discovery. California Bar admission and JD are required; insurance coverage experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing with the bar.
• Experience in insurance coverage preferred; open to other litigation backgrounds.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of complex litigation from inception through resolution.
• Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and management.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal correspondence.
• Meet with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Manage matters, deadlines, and client communication proactively.
• Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
