Job summary

Wilson Elser’s Denver office is seeking an Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Associate to join a collaborative team of professionals. The role offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement or remote work opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, Colorado bar admission, and 3+ years in defense litigation with 1+ years in coverage/coverage litigation. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, attending hearings, and advising clients on coverage matters.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of Colorado
• At least 3 years of defense litigation
• 1+ years of coverage/coverage litigation experience
• Experience in drafting discovery and pretrial motions
• Superior analytical and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices to support team goals
• Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters
• Draft pleadings and motions in coverage litigation and handle discovery
• Provide clients with insurance coverage advice and status updates
