Job summary

McAngus Goudelock & Courie LLC in Atlanta, GA, seeks a partner-level attorney for its Insurance Coverage Litigation team. Hybrid options are available after training and integration, with preference for candidates in close proximity to the office.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in insurance coverage and/or general litigation and is licensed to practice in Georgia. Competitive compensation with generous bonus opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or higher required.
• Active bar membership in Georgia is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

MGC is an industry leading civil litigation firm celebrating 31 years of excellence spanning 22 offices across 12 states.

We are seeking a partner-level attorney to join our Insurance Coverage Litigation team. Hybrid options will be considered after training/integration with the team, but must reside in close proximity of our office to come in on occasion.

Ideal candidates will have 12+ years of practice experience in insurance coverage and/or general litigation. We offer competitive compensation with generous bonus opportunities. Must be licensed to practice in Georgia.
