Qualifications

• Several years of insurance coverage or insurance defense litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Licensed to practice in Texas (or eligible for reciprocity/waiver).
• Ability to manage an active caseload independently while collaborating cross-office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and advise on complex insurance coverage issues across a range of policy types and claims.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and related correspondence.
• Represent insurer clients in coverage litigation, including motion practice and discovery.
• Counsel clients directly on coverage positions and claims-handling strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national offices on multi-jurisdictional matters.
