Our client, a leading international law firm, seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Miami, FL. This hybrid role offers exposure to high-exposure coverage matters and complex litigation within a global platform.

The candidate should have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record, Florida bar in good standing, and 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience focused on insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
• 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
• Experience drafting litigation-related documents
• Experience participating in litigation proceedings including depositions and mediations
• Familiarity with bad faith insurance, CGL, commercial property, E&O, and D&O
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation
• Engage with domestic and international insurers
• Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives
