Qualifications

• Active California Bar license/admission required.
• 2+ years of litigation experience in insurance coverage or complex commercial litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Analyze insurance policies and complex coverage issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Handle written discovery and motion practice.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on complex matters.
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff as appropriate.
