The role offers a $225K base salary and involves drafting coverage opinions, handling declaratory judgments, and advising carriers on fraud and SIU matters.

The candidate must hold a JD and be admitted in New York or New Jersey, with flexibility for working from either office or remotely.

Formación

• JD and active New York or New Jersey bar.
• 4–8 years post-bar insurance coverage or insurance defense experience.
• Interest in moving into coverage opinions.

Responsabilidades

• Draft coverage opinions and reservation-of-rights letters.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions.
• Defend complex liability files and push exposure through additional-insured and indemnity arguments.
• Advise carriers on fraud, SIU, and pre-suit investigations.
• Take depositions and brief coverage and liability motions.
