Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and evaluate coverage issues across a wide range of claims
• Draft detailed coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and disclaimer letters
• Advise insurance carriers regarding policy interpretation, coverage obligations, and claims-handling strategies
• Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations on complex coverage disputes
• Handle coverage litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and depositions
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
• Collaborate with claims professionals, in-house counsel, and litigation teams to develop effective legal strategies
• Stay current on emerging case law and regulatory developments affecting insurance coverage
