The Phoenix office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice. The ideal candidate will have 1–7 years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and drafting coverage opinions on first party property and general liability matters.

Qualifications

• 1–7 years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions.
• Experience with first party property and general liability matters.
• Litigation experience including depositions, court hearings, and motions.
• Strong research and writing skills; admission to the Arizona Bar.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contracts of all kinds and represent insurers in complex coverage claims.
• Monitor mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts.
• Handle depositions, court appearances, and draft/argue motions as needed.
• Collaborate with teams in a growing, collaborative firm environment.
