Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complex insurance coverage cases, conducting legal research, drafting various legal documents, and representing clients in litigation. Location:

Duties:

1. Review case files and conduct legal analysis on insurance claims and causes of action.
2. Perform extensive legal research and draft briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate documents.
3. Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions.
4. Draft and respond to discovery requests.
5. Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses for case preparation.
6. Prepare for and attend trials.
7. Achieve an annual billable requirement of 1,950 hours.
8. Occasional travel may be required for client matters.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage (preferred but not required).
2. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong research, writing, and communication abilities.
4. Ability to manage a caseload independently and work effectively within a team.
5. Timely response to email and phone inquiries.
6. Excellent client relations and telephone communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida (other states are a plus but not required).
