Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is seeking an Insurance Consultant to guide small business clients nationwide from inquiry to binding coverage.

You’ll often be the first contact for clients referred to our team, with support available to obtain your P&C license within 30 days. This role emphasizes relationship-building with partners and delivering clear coverage guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to obtain a P&C license; licensed candidates preferred.
• Proficient with multiple computer systems and platforms.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

Join our team as an Insurance Consultant and become a trusted guide for small business owners across the country.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients referred to Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies, helping them navigate their commercial insurance needs from the initial conversation through to binding coverage. You’ll work closely with our valued strategic partners and enjoy a dynamic environment where flexibility and responsiveness are key. If you already hold a Property & Casualty (P&C) producer license, that’s a plus—but if not, don’t worry! We’ll support you in obtaining your license within your first 30 days. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in a supportive, team-oriented captive agency setting.

• Provide accurate, appropriate answers to client questions regarding coverages, pricing, and insurance options

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be willing to obtain P&C license; Licensed candidates preferred
