Job summary

Allied Universal Compliance and Investigation Services is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet surveillance of claimants to support insurance claims. You will conduct independent investigations across workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability, using surveillance techniques and equipment, and report observations clearly.

Travel and driving are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post offer, successful completion of Allied Universal Investigations training.
• Minimum of one year experience in investigations or protective service field.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to type reports in MS Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Capable of maintaining focus and composure in a dynamic environment.
• Able to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations across a range of coverage types.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with investigators and law enforcement as needed.
