Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet surveillance of claimants to support insurance claim administration. The role involves mobile and stationary surveillance, documenting observations, and coordinating with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of verifiable investigative experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Post offer training/orientation course must be completed.
• One year of verifiable work experience, preferably investigations or protective service.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to type reports in Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Ability to work independently and stay focused under pressure.
• Demonstrated composure in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of insurance claims across multiple coverages.
• Use surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document observations and report clearly and concisely.
• Coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical standards.
