Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of a Claimant to support insurance claims.

Responsibilities include conducting investigations across workers' compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability; documenting observations; and reporting findings clearly. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to work varied hours. Auto and travel allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Post offer, must complete Allied Universal Investigations training/orientation
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable work experience, preferably investigations or protective service
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
• Ability to type reports in Word with minimal errors
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones
• Capable of maintaining focus and multitasking
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across multiple coverage types
• Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor subjects covertly
• Document and report observations and information clearly
• Collaborate with investigators and law enforcement as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical standards
