Zurich is seeking a Legal Claims Professional for its Management Solutions group. The role focuses on Private/Non-Profit D&O, EPL, and Fiduciary claims of moderate to high complexity, with supervision and cross-office collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

The candidate will review pleadings, analyze coverage and exposure, negotiate settlements, and draft letters while coordinating with defense counsel and clients.

Qualifikationen

• JD and 5+ years of experience in the Legal area
• JD and 5+ years of legal practice experience in the insurance area
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
• Experience in insurance claims and the insurance legal and regulatory environment
• Negotiation experience
• Customer service experience
• Microsoft Office experience

Aufgaben

• Analyze coverage, liability, damages and exposure
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Draft reservation of rights and coverage denial letters
• Notify Underwriter of claim issues and account performance
• Draft case summary reports in connection with significant reserve increases and trial preparation
• Direct and engage with the activities of defense counsel
• Analyze risk and minimize exposure
• Strategically direct claims to timely and appropriate resolutions
