Job summary

Clearbrook is seeking a Capital Analyst to support regulatory (BSCR) and rating agency capital models. The role collaborates with ERM, Finance, and actuarial teams to analyze results and prepare outputs for management.

The position is based in-office with potential locations in Omaha, Albany, New York, or Chicago. A strong Excel/analytics background and exposure to insurance capital frameworks are preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related discipline required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in insurance, financial analysis, capital modeling, or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support annual and quarterly Bermuda Solvency filings (Argo Group and Argo Re) ensuring accuracy and timelines.
• Own components of the BSCR process: data prep, validation and documentation.
• Assist Bermuda Monetary Authority regulatory filings (e.g., GSSA) to articulate the Group's solvency position.
• Support capital model maintenance for rating agencies (S&P, AM Best, Fitch).
• Analyze outputs to identify drivers of change in capital metrics and solvency position.
