Job summary

RT Specialty, LLC is seeking a Brokerage Operations Coordinator to support daily brokerage tasks and ensure efficient processing of paperwork for market renewals. The role requires accurate client data management, regulatory compliance, and strong collaboration with brokers and finance teams.

The position emphasizes documentation, records maintenance, and proactive risk controls while supporting ad hoc tasks across the brokerage group. A Bachelor’s degree is required; P&C licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred.
• Prescribed: minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses.
• Experience in the Insurance industry or underwriting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing and coordinating day-to-day brokerage operations and support procedural improvements.
• Coordinate with brokers to prepare documents for market renewal and provide administrative support.
• Update and manage new/current client information in required systems accurately.
• Maintain organized records of client accounts and transactions ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide customer service by answering broker requests via phone, email, chat, or in person.
• Contribute to compliance reports and collaborate with broker and finance teams on requirements.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies while preparing compliance reports.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks and work with risk management to implement controls.
• Support the Brokerage team with ad hoc tasks and requests.
