Gallagher Risk Placement Services (RPS) is seeking a broker who builds relationships, identifies opportunities, and delivers tailored insurance solutions. You will connect with clients to understand needs, assess risks, and provide strategic coverage recommendations, while collaborating with underwriters and account teams.

The role emphasizes sales performance, industry engagement, and a client-first approach within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years experience and appropriate insurance licensing, OR Bachelor's with GSIP and licensing, OR High School Diploma with 6 years experience.
• Preferred professional designation (CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM).
• Experience in insurance sales or business development, ideally wholesale.
• Knowledge of insurance products, risk management, and industry regulations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• State-regulated licenses as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow your portfolio.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend tailored insurance products.
• Work closely with underwriters and account managers to deliver seamless service.
