Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst in Woodbridge, NJ to analyze underwriting, sales and claims workflows and measure profitability across channels. You will build and maintain databases, dashboards and ETL processes to drive actionable insights for management.

The role requires strong SQL Server and Tableau experience, a BA/BS in a quantitative field, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in quantitative field.
• Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
• Analytical problem solver with attention to detail.
• Strong SQL Server and Tableau reporting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Understand insurance concepts such as P&Ls, expense ratios, rate indications, loss ratio trends, and marketing funnel metrics.
• Identify reporting solutions and upgrade reports to increase efficiency and reduce redundancy.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to review insights from recent exercises.
• Build automated reporting and ETL data extraction processes.
• Act as liaison between the BI team and other departments.
