Berkshire Hathaway Direct Insurance Company is seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst in Omaha, NE. You will gather requirements from stakeholders and help build processes to empower internal customers and improve policyholder experiences.

You’ll grow with us by transforming how the business views itself, ensuring accurate data, and delivering insights with attention to detail. The role includes creating SQL scripts and utilizing PowerBI among other dashboarding tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 2+ years relevant experience.
• Understand data structures / find relationships.
• Experience with Visio / Process Flows
• Experience with version control systems (Github, Devops, etc)
• Experience with Analytics / BI platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Cognis
• Collaborate with internal customers and communicate key insights and findings to the appropriate individuals
• Financial Reporting, Accounting, or Insurance experience preferred.
• Passionate about information.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory / financial / business reporting.
• Document Report Requests and Updates.
• Profile downstream data to find anomalies and potential data issues
• Create SQL scripts for reporting.
• Utilize PowerBI / other dashboarding programs
