The ideal candidate will excel in research, writing, and oral advocacy within a fast-paced litigation environment. Candidates should have 2–10 years of relevant experience, be licensed to practice in California, and possess a solid knowledge of CA insurance

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of experience in insurance coverage or bad faith litigation.
• Active license and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Strong working knowledge of California insurance law and related regulatory framework.
• Familiarity with FRCP and California Code of Civil Procedure.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions in state and federal court.
• Analyze insurance policies, claims files, and adjuster conduct to identify bad faith exposure.
• Take and defend depositions of insureds, adjusters, underwriters, and expert witnesses.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, experts, and support staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel.
