Job summary

Marsh Agency, Private Client Services, is seeking an Insurance Associate to support the East zone client advisory teams in meeting preparation, quoting, and renewal tasks. You will create binders, endorsements, and essential policy documents while coordinating client visits and scheduling with internal teams.

Responsibilities include updating summaries, processing endorsements, and assisting with new business by establishing files in Applied, delivering materials, and handling billing inquiries.

A day in the life

As the Insurance Associate on the East zone team, you'll collaborate with the Client Advisory teams to provide critical support in the preparation for prospect and client meetings. You'll assist in the client review process by ordering designated summaries ahead of the review target date and supporting the team in the preparation of stewardship reviews. You'll work on updating summaries, creating spreadsheets and other documents as requested, binding materials, obtaining quotes, and remarketing when applicable. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the new business process by establishing Applied (a system we use) files, creating binders, identification cards, cancellation forms, and coordinating the delivery of new business policies. While working alongside a Client Advisor Manager or Client Advisor, you will quote coverage via carrier websites, locate carrier-specific information, and obtain policy declarations. You will also support Client Advisor Managers and Client Advisors by scheduling client, carrier, and guest visits, including managing security clearances, reserving meeting spaces, and providing proper greetings. Lastly, you'll process endorsements, handle mortgage/lienholder inquiries, respond to client identification requests, and address billing inquiries.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail oriented to ensure accuracy.
• Possess self-discipline, self-motivation, and ability to meet assigned objectives.
• Holds appropriate P&C license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• College degree and/or prior insurance experience
• Previous experience servicing High Net Worth Clientele
• Proficiency in the daily use of carrier websites for the purposes of quoting, locating carrier specific information and obtaining policy declarations as needed.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $39,200 to $72,900.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
