Agent's Executive Assistant - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Are you outgoing and customer-focused? Do you enjoy working with the public? If you answered yes, working for a State Farm independent contractor agent may be the career for you! State Farm agents market only State Farm insurance and financial service products.

Responsibilities

1. Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
2. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. This includes responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
3. Assist the agent in establishing and meeting marketing goals.
4. Support the organization of local community events in our market.
5. Help manage the website and social media content.
6. Maintain a strong work ethic with a commitment to success every day.

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
• Enthusiasm for insurance and financial products' role in helping people manage risks and achieve their dreams
• People-oriented, organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive in problem solving, dedicated to customer service, and punctual
• Ability to work in a team and multi-task effectively
• Property and Casualty license (must obtain before first day of employment)

Additional Information

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not directly with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees must complete licensing and training requirements. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. Employees of agents are not employees of State Farm.

Compensation: $40,000 per year
