Smiles of Fort Myers is seeking an experienced Insurance & Billing Coordinator to join our patient-focused team. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, great with people, and confident navigating dental insurance and billing, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

You’ll verify benefits, process and reprocess claims, explain treatment costs and financing options to patients, set up payment schedules, and collaborate with the team to provide an exceptional patient experience.

What You’ll Do

• Verify dental insurance benefits and assist patients with insurance questions
• Process and reprocess dental insurance claims
• Help patients understand their billing, treatment costs, and financial options
• Present treatment plans and clearly explain financial arrangements
• Set up and coordinate patient payment schedules
• Work with in-house Dental Savings Plans, CareCredit, and similar financing programs
• Collaborate with the team to provide an exceptional patient experience
• Help keep billing and insurance processes accurate, organized, and running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of dental experience is required
• Strong dental insurance experience, including verification and claims
• Experience with dental billing and financial arrangements
• Comfortable presenting treatment plans and discussing finances with patients
• Experience with CareCredit and/or dental savings plans
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Someone who is ready to smile, have fun, and make a difference!
