Job summary

Horace Mann invites experienced insurance professionals to join as an Exclusive Agent. You will own an exclusive territory with no overlap, earning competitive, performance-based 1099 compensation and an aggressive 48-month incentive package.

You’ll receive dedicated support, cutting-edge technology, and a comprehensive multiline product portfolio to meet educators' needs, with market-building programs to grow your network and client base.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business development skills are required.
• Experience in insurance or financial services preferred (2–5 years).
• Active licenses for life/health and property/casualty are required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your exclusive agency with a defined territory.
• Present products to educators and groups, driving sales growth.
• Develop market access and establish relationships through events and networking.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licences:

• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
