Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to establish and own a local agency serving educators with tailored insurance and financial solutions. You will work with a dedicated service rep and state-of-the-art technology to grow your book within an exclusive territory.

You will bring 2–5 years of industry experience, obtain required licenses, and pursue a 1099 compensation plan with incentives and support from Horace Mann’s multiline product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health, Property and Casualty; FINRA Series 6 & 63 (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Present products to groups and individuals.
• Identify and develop market access opportunities.
• Network, engage with community and industry events.
• Build and manage your agency within an exclusive territory.
• Collaborate with Horace Mann team to support clients and grow the book of business.

What We’re Looking For:
