Job summary

Horace Mann invites experienced insurance professionals to join as Exclusive Insurance Agent. You will operate as an independent contractor within an exclusive territory, leveraging Horace Mann’s multiline product portfolio and training resources to build a thriving agency.

You will focus on educators, secure licenses, and leverage market-building programs to grow your client base and income through performance-based incentives and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and drive agency growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit opportunities within the educator market.
• Present and tailor insurance and financial products to clients.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
• Life and Health Insurance License
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
