Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to unlock your financial potential. This 1099 role offers an award‑driven path with an exclusive territory, a dedicated service representative, and cutting‑edge technology to help you build a thriving educator-focused book of business.

You will earn incentives based on activity and first‑48‑month performance, with access to a multiline product portfolio and market-building programs designed to grow your network.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance/financial services industry.
• Licenses: Life and Health; Property and Casualty; ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow your exclusive insurance book of business.
• Present comprehensive insurance and financial solutions to educators and groups.
• Network in the community and industry events to build relationships and drive growth.
• Manage client relationships and provide ongoing service through a dedicated support representative.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
• Life and Health Insurance License
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
