Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to own a niche market and build a lasting client base among educators in Michigan. You’ll operate with exclusive territory and receive performance-based compensation designed for independent agents.

Leverage Horace Mann’s multiline product portfolio, robust technology, and a dedicated service representative to focus on relationship building, client acquisition, and ongoing financial security for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
• 2–5 years of experience in insurance/financial services preferred.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses plus ability to obtain FINRA licenses if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure educators’ clients within an exclusive territory.
• Build and manage your agency and client relationships.

What We’re Looking For
