Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to empower educators with affordable insurance solutions and financial security. You’ll operate with 1099 compensation, an exclusive territory, and cutting-edge tools to grow your agency without a physical office for the first two years.

Leverage a multiline product portfolio, earning and quarterly incentives, and dedicated service support to build a strong client base and expand your network through events and relationships.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in insurance/financial services preferred.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health, Property & Casualty.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions to help educators obtain affordable insurance and financial security.
• Develop market access and build strong relationships with clients.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:

• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
