Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to help educators access affordable insurance and financial solutions. You will build and manage your own agency, leverage Horace Mann’s multiline product portfolio, and participate in market-expanding programs.

You’ll receive performance-based 1099 compensation with an extensive 48-month incentive package, plus support from a Premier Service Representative and cutting-edge technology to grow your business.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management abilities for building an agency.
• 2–5 years of experience in insurance/financial services preferred.
• Licenses for Life/Health and Property/Casualty are required.

Responsibilities

• Present products to educators and groups; build and manage your agency.
• Identify opportunities, network, and participate in industry events.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
  • Life and Health Insurance License
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
