Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to help educators secure affordable insurance and financial plans. You will build relationships, present products, and grow a personal agency with ongoing support from a premier service team.

This independent role offers a performance-based 1099 compensation model, incentives for the first 48 months, and access to a comprehensive multiline product portfolio, cutting-edge technology, and market-building programs.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management abilities to build and oversee an agency.
• Experience in the insurance and financial services industry preferred (2–5 years).
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses where applicable.
• Proven ability to present products to groups and individuals.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
  • Life and Health Insurance License
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
