Qualifications

• Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Three+ years of successful experience in insurance sales.
• Proficiency in policy management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Clear and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is helpful but not mandatory.
• Deep familiarity with the Charlottesville community.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective clients to understand their protection needs and offer meaningful solutions.
• Manage and nurture a diverse portfolio of personal and commercial insurance accounts.
• Review existing policies regularly to ensure coverage remains relevant and robust.
• Provide clear explanations of complex coverage options to help clients make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriting partners to secure the best possible terms for our clients.
• Participate in local events to build lasting community connections and represent our agency.
